Knitorama – Episode 038

Slightly longer episode than normal today, I have quite a number of things to show and talk about.

Flax Gone WildFlax Light by Tin Can Knits as the base of the sweater and then inspired by Dessine-Moi un Mouton by La Maison Rililie, using Holst Garn Supersoft 100% Uld in Oxford, Cloudberry, Damask, Sweet Pea, Calypso, Aquamarine & Sage Blue and Ovelha Negra Ofélia in 158 Oatmeal and 427 Orchid on 4mm Addi Clicks Interchangeable. Jeny’s Stretchy Bind Off for the bottom edge and cuff.

Halloween Socks – just my standard sock recipe, you can find details on the project page, using Tiger Strømpegarn in Fuchsia and Dark Rainbow (no colour names or numbers) on my 2.25mm Hiya Hiya Sharp Fixed Circulars.

Elf Hat in Browns – Garter Ear Flap Hat by Laura’s Loop for Purl Soho, using BMG Affinitas Baby in 616 Light Brown and 617 Dark Brown on 4.5mm & 5mm Addi Clicks Interchangeables. Made size Toddler.

Charlie Brown – Flax by Tin Can Knits using BMG Affinitas Baby in 603 Light Yellow (body), 616 Light Brown (ribbing) and 617 Dark Brown (striping) on 5mm Addi Clicks Interchangeables. Made size 0-6 months.

2016 Advent ScarfMosaic Advent Scarf 2016 by Tricia Weatherston using Hjertegarn Kunstgarn (bought at Bolas de Tons in Coimbra)in colours 01 Blacks and 20 Rainbow on 3.5mm Addi Clicks Interchangeables. Probably going to be turning this into an infinity cowl when it’s done. Each clue contains 30 rows to be done on daily basis. Started on 27/11 and will end on 24/12.

Sock Yarn Mitered Blanket – BordersManta by Rosário Albuquerque using Garnstudio Drops Fabel in 107 Navy for the borders on 3mm  Bamboo Fixed Circulars (can’t remember the brand name, bought them at a Michaels in Houston some 15 years ago).

Soot & Rusty enjoying the ongoing blanket and some sewing. let me know if you like the extras or not
