So today we had another knitting get together at Ateneia, another enjoyable afternoon had by all.
My afternoon started of with lunch around 13.30 eating a ham/cheese grilled sandwich washed down with a Coke and reading Lauren Weisberger’s lastest novel REVENGE WEARS PRADA, the sequal to THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. Around 14.30 Fernanda showed up with her daughter and the book was put aside and the knitting was taken out.
Fernanda’s sweater, she’s using Schoppel Wolle’s cotton yarn in a lovely green (the photo is almost true to color).
Maria José brought along some crochet, this will become a lovely little bag to hold little knick-knacks, made from really thin crochet cotton.
My cardigan in Malabrigo Lace (it’s actually a nice dark green, but I can’t seem to photograph the actual color) which was on a time out during the very hot days, but which has now been brought back out to finish off.
A shawlette made by Maria José using Yarn Adventures Sock yarn (above). A baby cardigan made for granddaughter no.1 which is now being copied for granddaughter no.2 which will be arriving towards the end of the year.
And here are some Yarn Adventure Sock yarn in gorgeous colors.
