April Knitting Meet-up

This afternoon we had our April Knitting Meet-up. It was a small group today, which was ok, it actually gives us an opportunity to talk to everyone.

As promised I took along the Hedgehog Family for everyone to admire, they were a huge success.

This little shawl was made by Maria José for her granddaughter last year, isn’t it gorgeous, it’s an original design.

And here’s the little jacket that was started last meet-up and now is ready for her granddaughter to wear. It’s made in a very light cotton and it’s soft yet firm at the same time, did you notice the details on the edgings, isn’t it precious.

Here’s a close-up.

Cynthia brought along a project that just needs some finishing touches, in a lovely cotton/linen blend, just in time for the upcoming spring/summer months.

Ana had been knitting a second Daybreak last time she came to the meeting and it’s now all finished, and looks just as good as her original one.

Here’s the project Micky is currently working on, another shawl, I forgot to ask which one, but I love the colour she’s using.

Maria José was working on a lovely wrap in antracite, once blocked it’s going to be gorgeous, great for summer evenings.

Some knitting going on. Hope to see everyone and their finished projects again next month.
