Baby Surprise Jacket – Gift

I helped out a friend of mine by knitting a larger version of the Baby Surprise Jacket, using two strands of yarn and 6mm knitting needles. My friend needed a gift for eldest daugher of a close friend of hers, and she didn’t have the time to knit anything else as she was still working on another sweater for the youngest daughter. So I offered to help out by knitting the BSJ. This is how it turned out.

Before I found some buttons, this is closer to the original colours of the jacket.

And this is after all the ends had been sewn in and the buttons had been added.
