First Ever Biscornu

So this is my first attempt at a Biscornu. I made my own design using the old Quaker style and then using some of my homedyed blackberry fabric I chose a color that suited it best and started stitching. To the left the finished stitching before putting it together, to the right the finished piece. I’ve given it to my mum for her to stick pins & needles in while she’s busy sewing up her next project.

Putting the buttons on was the hardest part of the whole thing, although the stitching together of the two pieces also required some getting used to it, but I enjoyed it and I will definitely be making more in the future.

By the way, the fabric still has a light blackberry smell to it which is quite nice. Will have to use some more of the fabric soon for other projects.
